Does it Hurt?

You may notice a slight sensation or tingling, but this is nothing like and injection or vaccination at the doctors. Arrange a free consultation and you can find out more before you book any treatment.

Is it Safe?

Acupuncture is one of the safest complementary therapies used in the UK. Very occasionally, minor bruising is experienced and more serious side effects are extremely rare. Every Acupuncturist insured by the British Acupuncture Council has undergone extensive training and caries a valid first aid certificate. Each needle used is sterile and disposed of after use.

How Many Treatments Do I Need?

Initially 4 - 5 weekly treatments are recommended, then appointments can be arranged to suit you and your needs. Often the longe term benefits of treatment can be maintained with a 'top up' treatment once every 6 - 8 weeks.
