Allergies.

Allergies, whether mild or life threatening, are said to be increasing in today's society. On occasions, these can be effectively controlled by medication, but little is done to address the cause of the problem.

Many research trials have been conducted into treating allergies with acupuncture with some good results. As with many things, the longer you have suffered with any particular allergy, the harder it can be to get rid of it although the symptoms can be managed with acupuncture.

Asthma and Eczema respond well with acupuncture on the whole. Hayfever and dust allergies also respond well to treatment, although it is often recommended that treatment starts before exposure to the relevant allergen, where possible, to be most effective.
